These decisions made by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) have raised concerns among neighboring countries, particularly Iraq.
Recently, the Minister of Interior of Iraq visited border areas with Syria and made the decision to establish a security base there.
Iraqi media reports indicate that in addition to the base construction decision, Iraq has stepped up patrols along the border with Syria in order to prevent ISIS from infiltrating its territory.
A Syrian expert named Ahmad al-Sharifi has stated that 148 ISIS members have been released from Kurdish prisons, with expectations that this number will eventually reach 1,200 to 1,400 individuals.
It is important to note that the Syrian Democratic Forces, a Kurdish group, is currently detaining up to 50,000 ISIS members and their families in the areas under their control in Syria.
