In this article, I aim to shed light on a significant and conspicuous sign of the Khawarij for those seeking truth. One of the distinctive signs and characteristics of the Kharijites is the one mentioned by the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him:
يَقْتُلُونَ أَهْلَ الْإِسْلَامِ، وَيَدَعُونَ أَهْلَ الْأَوْثَانِ
Translation:
“They kill the Muslims and spare the idol-worshippers.”
Now, esteemed readers, let us compare the situation of the Kharijites in that era with the prophetic hadiths and the actions of the present-day Daesh Kharijites. Take the scales in your hand and observe whom the ISIS militants are engaging in combat today, the Muslims or the infidels?
It is evident how the Daesh insurgents, under the guise of the Islamic Caliphate, have caused distress among the Muslims, particularly the Mujahideen.
ISIS opposed the Mujahideen of al-Qaeda in Iraq, cutting off their allegiance and martyring many Mujahideen.
ISIS also opposed all the Mujahideen of Sham (Syria), declaring them apostates and considering their blood permissible.
ISIS martyred numerous Mujahideen in that country, as well as those associated with Al-Qaeda, tarnishing the noble name of Jihad and creating a negative perception in the hearts of the youth.
Following two decades of Jihad and a final battle in beloved Afghanistan, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate successfully overcame Western adversaries and occupiers, establishing a government based on “Islamic Sharia” and the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah.
However, the Kharijites of this era propagated their venomous ideology of enmity and discord, causing further distress to Afghanistan – a nation besieged by infidel attacks and enduring economic and political pressures from all sides. This has brought delight to the enemies of Islam and sorrow to the believers.
Against whom has ISIS waged war in Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan, and whom do they currently oppose?
What have they accomplished apart from the slaughter of the Mujahideen?
To those who have been swayed by the enticing rhetoric of ISIS, awaken to reality and shield yourselves from the clutches of darkness and ignorance.
Be cautious not to be led astray, presuming you are on the right path when in fact, you have faltered.
Reflect upon the teachings of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, regarding the Khawarij.
The Prophet of Allah has eloquently elucidated the essence of the Khawarijs’ tribulation for us, leaving no room for uncertainty or justification.
